It’s almost Thanksgiving and you’ve probably seen a lot of posts about being thankful for all the blessings they’ve received, their family and friends. While I am also absolutely grateful for all these things and more, this year, I want to focus on the bad things that happened to me. It’s not every day you get to hear someone say “Be thankful for the bad things in your life”. It’s hard to be thankful for them when they hurt you, when they make you live your life in fear, when they make you angry, or when they leave you devastated.

Happy Thursday! How has your week been? Mine has been good. We’re slowly adjusting from my parents leaving last week; however, the weekend has been tough because on top of taking care of the kids, that’s when we need to grocery shop and do the laundry. I’ve been very particular with what my kids eat. While my daughter can eat anything (even unhealthy ones once in a while), my son can only eat the good food – no junk food, only healthy stuff. Whenever we eat something that’s not healthy, he usually just stands there watching us – I know that sounds cruel but I just didn’t want him to consume anything unhealthy until he’s 1.
