How was your January? Mine has been filled with birthday parties, swimming classes, and recovering from a virus. Last Christmas, my husband and I decided that we would be enrolling our kids to their very first swimming class instead of giving them material things as a gift for Christmas. So since the first Saturday of January, we’ve been taking the kids to their 9AM swimming class (except when they were sick)… what the hell were we thinking, right? I know!!! Anyway, here are my favorite Instagram moments last January! Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram so you’re always up-to-date on what…

If there’s one trend that I wish would never go away, it would be the bell sleeves trend. Granted I found out the hard way that it’s hard to pull off a bell sleeve top whenever I’m with my kids; that won’t stop me from wearing one (when I won’t be with my kids all day). Because seriously, it is truly, by far, one of my favorite trends. So imagine how ecstatic I was when I started seeing bell sleeve sweaters everywhere! I did what I usually do! I shopped… A LOT! I didn’t stop at 1 bell sleeve sweater;…

I can’t believe that we’re in December already! But honestly, I’m so excited because there’s only 3 more weeks before Christmas!!! November has been a fun month for my family especially since we did a quick trip to North Carolina for Thanksgiving to see an old friend of mine. Here are my favorite posts for the month of November!

How are you all doing? My week has been good so far. However, last weekend was very traumatizing for me and my daughter. We lost her at the beach during our family trip. Thankfully, we found her right away and she was unharmed. She seems to be doing really great and didn’t remember what happened; but I’m still trying so hard to recover from it. I hope your weekend was better than mine. Anyway, today, I’d love to talk about my new favorite suede jacket.

Do you want to look fabulous for Fall (or for any season) without breaking the bank? I get it! We all want to look our best no matter what season (or day) it is. But not everyone has all the money to spend at high-end stores. Looking fabulous doesn’t mean you always have to splurge. It’s not always about the labels. I’m not going to be a hypocrite and say I don’t like designer brands, because I do! However, while I do believe that some designer pieces are well worth the investment because of their quality, I am also aware…

Happy Thursday! How’s your week going so far? Mine has been good! Last weekend, I was able to spend a few hours to myself, special thanks to my husband for letting it happen. And no, it’s not my Mother’s Day present. I finally got my much needed haircut; I haven’t had one in 2 years. And got a pedicure as well. It’s just so easy to take yourself for granted after being a mom; but I’m trying so hard to do little things for myself every once in a while. I also made Pineapple Upsidedown mini cakes for my husband…

Happy Thursday! I hope you’re all having a great week so far and had a great Valentine’s Day with your loved ones! I know I did even though I had to attend a 6-hour long meeting at work. After work, we gave the kids their gifts and watched as they open it with excitement, and ordered some Chinese food for dinner; then after the kids went to bed, my husband surprised me with his gift. And that’s when I realized I totally forgot my gift for him at work. I had it delivered at work while I was out last week and decided…

I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are having a great week! Mine has been crazy busy which is why I took a few days off blogging. I am back though with a new guest author; Claire Hastings. Claire is a design student and a writer from Brisbane, Australia. She’s going to tell us how Australian’s view beauty untraditionally and how we can all benefit from them. – The Land Down Under is one of the first places to greet the New Year every 1st of January. And while the rest of us are still waiting for the fireworks to…

Can you believe Valentine’s Day is just a few weeks away? And with that, you’re probably already wondering what to wear for your date with your partner or with your girl friends. Today, I am here to give you a little bit of inspiration for that special day. I’ve always been drawn to anything with lace – dresses, tops, pants – anything. I guess it has to do with how feminine and delicate it looks. So I thought one of my lace dresses would be perfect for a romantic look this Valentine’s Day. The first color that probably comes to your…

One of the most common signs of teething for babies is drooling. Both of my kids started drooling as early as 3 months. While my daughter stopped drooling after her first set of teeth popped out when she was 7 months old; my son didn’t stop drooling at all! He’s been having a drooling fest even after he’s had his 6th tooth. He’d probably get 4-5 bibs soaked in a day; and I would always find myself using his burp cloths as bibs because he already used them all up. Although he’s no longer drooling as much as before these days. My son started wearing bibs…
