Things Do In Spring That Are Budget-Friendly As a mom, one of my hopes is that my kids will have a wonderful childhood with a lot of fun memories that they will love looking back on when they're older. And every time the season changes, I see it as a huge opportunity to give them fun memories they will surely treasure by doing different activities they'll get to enjoy. Like every fall, I make sure we...

July has been a very busy month for me since I spent most of it planning and executing stuff for my daughter's princess themed birthday party. (I'll be doing a post about it soon, so watch out for it!) And I also did a lot of shopping especially with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. If you still haven't shopped the sale yet, check out my picks from this year's Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Also, Today marks my...

I can't believe that the first quarter of 2018 is done just like that! The first 3 months of 2018 have been very eventful for me and my family. The kids pretty much spent most of the weekends of January and February attending their swim class; I made my daughter's DIY wonder woman costume; we went to see Jurassic Quest when they were in town; my daughter has had to deal with mean friends;  my...

Growing up, part of what gets me excited about Christmas are the family traditions that I get to do with my parents. I always look forward to doing those year after year. And I still do! I think I always will, even though I don't get to do it with them anymore. Now that I am a mom of 2 adorable kids, it is my turn to make sure that we get these Christmas traditions...

This year is really flying by! October has always been an eventful month for us since I became a mom, because of all the fun fall activities that we always try to do with the kids. And this year is pretty much the same, considering we've yet to go to a fall festival and enjoy the fall foliage. So my Instagram posts for the past month is a good combination of the outfits I wore and the activities that we did. I know I said in my previous post that I'll be sharing only 5 Instagram posts every month, but there are so many things that I love that happened in October; and I want to share them with you. Here are my favorite posts for October!

Since I was younger, holidays would always get me really excited! Back in the Philippines, it seemed as if we have long weekends every single month! How I miss those! My friends and I would always plan to go somewhere each holiday. Before being a mom, my husband and I would choose to just stay at home and relax to enjoy the holidays; and most of the time, I'd be online shopping because of all the great deals! After giving birth to my kids, I guess my adventurous side got awakened; or maybe it gave me the perfect excuse to force my husband outside our house (he loves to stay at home). I found myself planning family trips for every holiday and for every occasion. Last 4th of July weekend, our family visited Washington, DC to enjoy the long weekend. If you have toddlers like I do, this post is perfect for you. Today, I will be sharing what you can do in Washington, DC with your kids.

My daughter used to be scared of water - pool, ocean, anything. Even when I thought she has finally gotten over her fear of water, she really didn't. It wasn't until recently when she started showing interest in playing with water. She would constantly tell me how she wants to swim in any body of water she'd see, even a small puddle of water. How cute, right? We've taken her and my son to an indoor pool near where we live quite a few times during the colder months; and she'd constantly tell me she wants to do it again. So last Memorial Weekend, my husband and I thought it would be perfect to bring the kids to Massanutten Resort.

family in front of Statue of Liberty at Liberty Island, New York, taken at a family trip Back in November, we drove to New York for a few days to show my parents around. I would consider it as one of the most stressful trips I've taken so far with my kids, mostly because I was trying make sure that my parents get to see as much tourist attractions as possible while also trying to accommodate my kids' schedule. I was always rushing to enjoy where we were because I knew we had to leave soon so the kids could take their nap on time. So today, I'll be sharing with you what to do (and not to do) to survive sightseeing in New York with your toddler.

Couples celebrating their wedding anniversary usually do something noteworthy for their special day. Some couples go on a date and do something they both love doing; a few try to re-create that memorable night when they exchanged their vows; while others go on a romantic trip for a few days or even weeks. However, celebrating wedding anniversaries with kids, especially younger ones, can be challenging. Dressing up and getting dolled up to go on a date with your spouse if you haven't had enough sleep for a few nights in a row can be such a chore; I'm sure you'd rather just stay at home and spend it getting the sleep you've longed for in a while. And how on earth could you go on a romantic trip with a baby or toddler with you?
