December Instagram Roundup

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you had an amazing 2018 and wishing you a new year filled with blessings, happiness, and love! I took a social media break on the last couple of weeks of December to focus on what’s really important – family. So this month’s Instagram roundup is going to be short because I only had a few posts I shared on Instagram. Why don’t we get started and look back on my favorite Instagram moments last December! Last month, we went to Burke Lake Park and checked out their Christmas activities. We rode the wagon, made…

Instagram Roundup – November (Statement Boots & Fall Outfit Ideas)

I can’t believe that we’re in December already! But honestly, I’m so excited because there’s only 3 more weeks before Christmas!!! November has been a fun month for my family especially since we did a quick trip to North Carolina for Thanksgiving to see an old friend of mine. Here are my favorite posts for the month of November!

What I Wore On An Apple Picking Trip: Sleeveless Vest + Distressed Jeans

Happy Tuesday! How are you doing? Did you have a wonderful weekend? Our weekend was relaxed yet still exhausting! What an irony, right? We haven’t had a chill weekend in a while since we always had to do some shoots for the blog, so I thought it would be nice not to do anything blog-related last weekend. But of course, with all the chores we had to do and errands we had to run over the weekend, my husband and I still ended up exhausted. But it was good; my husband and I were able to enjoy a few bottles…

Off The Shoulder Sweater + Faux Leather Leggings

Happy Thursday! I hope you’re all having a great week so far and had a great Valentine’s Day with your loved ones! I know I did even though I had to attend a 6-hour long meeting at work. After work, we gave the kids their gifts and watched as they open it with excitement, and ordered some Chinese food for dinner; then after the kids went to bed, my husband surprised me with his gift. And that’s when I realized I totally forgot my gift for him at work. I had it delivered at work while I was out last week and decided…

Crossback Sweater

I love adding fun pieces to my closet like this yellow crossback sweater that I recently got from Express. I like how chunky and flowy it is making it easy to move around into; which is also ideal for layering. I especially adore the fun and edgy combination of this crossback sweater paired with my faux leather leggings which has been my favorite leggings so far. Since this crossback sweater doesn’t have any prints on it, I can already see myself having fun pairing it with some of my printed leggings, like the plaid ones, or the aztec-printed ones, or even the polka-dotted ones,…

Flowing Into Fall

These pictures were actually taken 2 weeks ago when it was a bit chilly in the morning but warm in the afternoon, so this blue Trapeze dress that I bought when I was pregnant with my daughter (see what other “tricks” I did so I didn’t have to wear maternity clothes here) is just perfect for that kind of weather. I’ve worn it with a scarf to take care of the morning chill, then removed it in the afternoon when the temperature had risen to 80s. Even though it has long sleeves, the fact that this dress is so light and flowy makes it very comfortable to…
