How To Throw The Best Paw Patrol Themed Party

After I threw a princess themed party for my daughter a few months ago, my son said he wanted to have a Paw Patrol themed party for his 3rd birthday. And even though planning a party and executing everything in my plan is very exhausting and time-consuming, I gladly said yes. Today, I am going to share all the details for my son’s Paw Patrol birthday party.

How To Throw The Most Magical DIY Princess Themed Party

Growing up in the Philippines, my husband and I didn’t have birthday parties every year. Kids (back then) would only have a party on their 1st, 7th, (sometimes 13th), and 18th birthdays. We both agreed to do the same thing with our kids. But I guess growing up in the U.S. and attending parties left and right, my daughter kinda expected that that’s how it really is. She told us that she wanted to invite all her friends and have a party in our house for her 4th birthday. And since she’s into princesses right now, I thought throwing her…

The Best Ride-On Car For Toddlers From buybuy BABY

This ride-on car was provided by buybuy BABY for free in exchange for my honest review. As always, thoughts and opinions are 100% honest and my own. Don’t you find it amazing how our babies grow up so fast? And doesn’t it make you wish that you could stop the time? I know I do! I can still remember how tiny my daughter was and how she was so dependent on me and my husband during her first year of life. But now, she has grown into this sweet, thoughtful, and witty girl right before my eyes. She’s always expressing her…

Check and Romper

My son turned 1 recently and if you don’t know it yet, I wrote him an apology letter; you can read the letter here. Of course, we had a family dinner to celebrate his birthday. Other than spending time with my family, dressing up the kids is my next favorite thing during special occasions. I chose a checked shirt paired with a yellow twill shorts for my son; each less than $15. I can’t believe how time flies; it feels like it was just yesterday when he was born; but look at him now, he’s all grown up. While my daughter wore a romper…

To My Second Born Child

To My Second Born Child, I can’t believe it has been exactly 1 year ago (already). While Daddy and I were on our way to the airport to pick up Papa from an almost 24-hour flight from Manila, you decided you wanted to welcome him as well; that’s when the contractions started. I ignored them because I thought they weren’t the real thing. As we sat in the arrival area waiting for Papa, the contractions became regular and stronger. I tried to be calm (not to cause a scene or anything) during each and every contraction. As soon as Papa arrived,  I hugged him and tears fell – I wasn’t sure if…

Dining Out With Your Kids

In the Philippines, where I grew up, parents usually celebrate the baby’s monthly birthday during his/her first year of life. They would usually prepare a few entrees and a cake (and, sometimes, other desserts) that they will share with the whole family. When my daughter was born, it was just my husband and me, so I opted to just dine out every month instead of cooking. We decided to do the same thing with my son’s monthly birthday, even though my dad was staying with us during the first 6 months since he was born. I guess it’s just easier to dine…
