After I threw a princess themed party for my daughter a few months ago, my son said he wanted to have a Paw Patrol themed party for his 3rd birthday. And even though planning a party and executing everything in my plan is very exhausting and time-consuming, I gladly said yes. Today, I am going to share all the details for my son's Paw Patrol birthday party....

Growing up in the Philippines, my husband and I didn't have birthday parties every year. Kids (back then) would only have a party on their 1st, 7th, (sometimes 13th), and 18th birthdays. We both agreed to do the same thing with our kids. But I guess growing up in the U.S. and attending parties left and right, my daughter kinda expected that that's how it really is. She told us that she wanted to invite...

Kid Motorz Chevy Bel Air 1-Seater 12-Volt Toddler Ride-On Car from buybuy Baby - The best ride on toy for toddlers! Click on the image to learn more. | ride on toys | ride on toys for toddlers | ride on car | ride on cars for toddlers | ride on cars for kids | ride on cars kids | ride on cars for kids toys This ride-on car was provided by buybuy BABY for free in exchange for my honest review. As always, thoughts and opinions are 100% honest and my own. Don't you find it amazing how our babies grow up so fast? And doesn't it make you wish that you could stop the time? I know I do! I can still remember how tiny my daughter was and how she was so dependent on me and my husband during her first year of life. But now, she has grown into this sweet, thoughtful, and witty girl right before my eyes. She's always expressing her thoughts, slowly becoming independent, and learning what she likes (and doesn't like). While I find that fascinating, I can't help but feel a bit sad because that means we're one step closer to the time when she won't need me anymore. I hope that doesn't happen anytime soon! With her birthday right around the corner, she told us what she wanted for her birthday - A Pink Car (after she saw a girl driving a pink ride-on car one day)! And so the search for the pink toddler ride-on car begun! I actually got overwhelmed with the tons of options available out there. Imagine how thrilled I was to find the perfect pink toddler ride-on car at buybuy BABY?

Since One Awesome Momma had just recently moved from Wordpress.com to a self-hosted site, why don't we celebrate it for a bit? And what better way to do a celebration than to do a post about a party, right? Let me share with you all the details of my son's safari themed party that we threw for him last Saturday. - Note: I may receive commissions from clicks or purchases made through links in this post at...

My son turned 1 recently and if you don't know it yet, I wrote him an apology letter; you can read the letter here. Of course, we had a family dinner to celebrate his birthday. Other than spending time with my family, dressing up the kids is my next favorite thing during special occasions. I chose a checked shirt paired with a yellow twill shorts for my son; each less than $15. I can't believe how time flies; it feels...

To My Second Born Child, I can't believe it has been exactly 1 year ago (already). While Daddy and I were on our way to the airport to pick up Papa from an almost 24-hour flight from Manila, you decided you wanted to welcome him as well; that's when the contractions started. I ignored them because I thought they weren't the real thing. As we sat in the arrival area waiting for Papa, the contractions became regular and stronger. I tried to be calm...

In the Philippines, where I grew up, parents usually celebrate the baby's monthly birthday during his/her first year of life. They would usually prepare a few entrees and a cake (and, sometimes, other desserts) that they will share with the whole family. When my daughter was born, it was just my husband and me, so I opted to just dine out every month instead of cooking. We decided to do the same thing with my son's monthly birthday,...
