When I found out that I was pregnant with my daughter 5 years ago, I was so excited! As you probably already know, I love fashion. Other than the fact that we’ve been planning for a baby (and hoping for a girl) back then, I knew I’m going to have so much fun shopping outfits for her and with her. Little did I know that I’m missing one important aspect of having a daughter – hairstyle – which I don’t know nothing about!
I’ve never been good with hairstyles. Since I was young, I’ve only known 3 hairstyles – wearing my hair down (this may not be considered a hairstyle), in a ponytail, and in a half ponytail. It wasn’t until recently that I learned how to do a bun, and I even had to cheat that so I can pull that off.
My daughter wants to grow her hair long so she can be like Elsa so I had to style her hair to keep it from coming in contact with all sorts of things like glue, slime, food, and so much more. For the longest time, I’ve been letting her go to school in ponytail. While there’s nothing wrong with that, I wanted to shake things up and try other hairstyles that aren’t too complicated. Today, I want to share with you 4 easy hairstyles for little girls which are perfect for moms who aren’t good with hairstyles like myself.

While I wish these commissions were enough to let me stay at home with my kids, they’re really for paying the fees to keep this site up and running. Thank you for your continued support!
Of all 4 hairstyles, the first one is the easiest and my go-to whenever we’re running late. It’s quick and simple and can be done in less than 5 minutes.
The second hairstyle is a combination of the first one and pigtail; and is my favorite of them all. Yes, it does take a while to do but I just love how adorable my daughter looks in it. To do this, I start by separating the hair into 2 sections using elastic hair bands and then work on the left side first. Once I’m done with the left side, I do the same thing on the right side.
If you have extra time, you can braid the hair after the last elastic hair band for a more adorable look.
If you’re looking for a fun way to keep your daughter’s hair from her face, here are a couple of fun hairstyles that you should try.
Both hairstyles are pretty similar to do but the last one took me the longest.
To do the first hairstyle, separate the top part of your daughter’s hair in 3 sections using elastic hair bands. And then, gather all your daughter’s hair at the bottom and secure it with an elastic hair band.
To do the second hairstyle, separate your daughter’s hair in 2 sections using elastic hair bands. Remove the elastic hair band on the right side. Starting from the top, separate the right side in 3 sections using elastic hair bands. Once done, gather all your daughter’s hair on the left and use an elastic hair band to hold it. You’re going to need a hair clip like the one I used to hold your daughter’s hair in place.
