How is it that we’re already in November? This year is really flying by! October has always been an eventful month for us since I became a mom, because of all the fun fall activities that we always try to do with the kids. And this year is pretty much the same, considering we’ve yet to go to a fall festival and enjoy the fall foliage. So my Instagram posts for the past month is a good combination of the outfits I wore and the activities that we did. I know I said in my previous post that I’ll be…

Happy Tuesday! How are you doing? Did you have a wonderful weekend? Our weekend was relaxed yet still exhausting! What an irony, right? We haven’t had a chill weekend in a while since we always had to do some shoots for the blog, so I thought it would be nice not to do anything blog-related last weekend. But of course, with all the chores we had to do and errands we had to run over the weekend, my husband and I still ended up exhausted. But it was good; my husband and I were able to enjoy a few bottles…

Growing up in the Philippines, you can quickly feel the Christmas spirit as soon as September hits. Everywhere you go feels like Christmas! I remember when I was younger, my mom and I would always fill our house with Christmas decorations as soon as September starts; we would always go out and get ourselves some delicacies that are only being sold during the Christmas season; and we would sing along to Christmas songs while they’re playing. These are the things I still dearly miss since I moved here in the U.S., Filipino Christmas traditions that I no longer get to…

I can’t believe we’re already halfway through October! However, it still doesn’t feel like fall at all! The weather has been really crazy lately! The temperature has dropped for a few days here in VA but has risen again for the past couple of weeks. Last weekend, it was 80’s and yesterday it was 50’s. I am honestly not sure when it will really really start to feel like fall for good (I wish soon). If you’re still not ready to let go of your summer clothes, then you’re going to need these easy hacks to transition your summer wardrobe into fall.…

Moms, let’s be honest… When was the last time you spoiled yourself? How many times did you feel like all you do is care for your family that oftentimes you take yourself for granted? I always do! Most of the time, I feel like I spend the entire day making sure my family’s needs are met – their meals and snacks are served on time, their clothes are washed and put away, the kids have enough activities throughout the day to keep them entertained, and so much more – that I never got the chance to do the things I…

I realized I haven’t done as much fashion posts as I’d like to lately; you’ve probably noticed that too. My life has been crazy busy and extremely eventful recently that I just don’t have enough time to work on my blog. You probably miss my fashion posts. And since I usually share some life updates and my outfits on Instagram, I realized I should do an Instagram roundup post every month.

I have to say that I’ve been VERY fortunate to not have to deal with a public temper tantrum for the entire 3 years since becoming a mom, until recently. To be honest, I’ve been dreading it because I don’t know how to react or how I would handle it. My daughter is really sweet and cheerful; and although she would sometimes cry in public, she would ALWAYS listen to whatever I told her. Things would never escalate to a temper tantrum. I guess she learned early on that when Mommy says no, there’s nothing she could do to change…

Since becoming a mom, sleep is one of the luxuries I wish I’ve always had more of. Because no matter how hard I try, I just can’t seem to get enough of it. With everything I had to do every day, mommy-ing, working full time, and running a blog, a good night’s sleep has always been what I’m longing for. There are times though when I would pass out while putting my daughter to bed, but either I’d wake up STILL tired first thing in the morning; or wake up in the wee hours of the night and couldn’t go…

If you’re a busy mom (or person) like me, you certainly appreciate the perks that come with online shopping. And you probably know by now that online shopping is my jam! Because (as if I haven’t said it enough) it’s so convenient especially for busy moms like myself. I love surfing the internet and finding great deals on my favorite stores. What makes it so much better is that I can easily find coupon codes from Groupon Coupons which I can use to get extra discounts on items I want to get like free shipping or an extra 20% off my…
