Whether we like it or not, swimsuit season is just around the corner. It’s that time of the year when we usually feel pressured (especially us moms after giving birth to our precious little ones) to be in shape so we’ll look our best in our swimsuits. I don’t know about you, but I’m not gifted with the best metabolism there is; so I usually have to make an extra effort to work out to have that “perfect body”.
But if you’re like me, you probably just don’t have the time to work out with everything you already have on your plate EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. If we’re being honest here, brushing my hair is one of my luxuries in life; I only get to do it once a day right after I take a shower and that’s it. So I’ve actually given up on finding the time to squeeze in working out every day and chose to be contented and happy with my body the way it is.
That’s not to say that we shouldn’t feel and look our best in our swimsuits. Luckily for us, there are swimsuits out there which will make the most out of our mom curves and won’t expose anything we don’t want to be exposed when we’re running after our kids. Today, I’m sharing the most flattering mom-friendly swimsuits you should have for Summer!

I’ve recently gotten the one-shoulder striped swimsuit and loved it! Actually, I’ve been eyeing this since last year but finally got it a few weeks ago when it went on sale. And then shortly after, I got this gingham peplum tankini and decided to pair it with the high waisted ruched bikini bottom instead of the gingham high waisted bikini bottom.
If you’re into leopard print just like I am, then this is perfect one for you. If you’re obsessed with the gingham trend, then you should get your hands on this. I am obsessed with anything stripes and I just cannot get over this.
How adorable are the ruffle details on the sleeve of this and the neckline of this? The patchwork print on this is really pretty. This off the shoulder swimsuit is so fun especially with its color. I just love how simple yet sexy this and this are.
I also have my eyes set on this polka dot swimsuit but I feel like I already have enough swimsuits for this season. Seriously, can you have too much swimsuit?
I understand that the price points for these swimsuits are maybe a little over than what you wanted to spend on a swimsuit. I’ve been on both ends of the spectrum. I’ve gotten an expensive (for what I usually spend) swimsuit but it has lasted me years. Actually, I still get to use it now and it still looks like when I bought it over 5 years ago. And I’ve also paid less than $25 for a swimsuit. And guess what? The quality is really bad I didn’t get to use it. Too bad I purchased it online from a store that’s based overseas and I couldn’t return it. So that’s how I learned that spending a little over than what I usually would for a swimsuit is worth it.
