July has been a very busy month for me since I spent most of it planning and executing stuff for my daughter’s princess themed birthday party. (I’ll be doing a post about it soon, so watch out for it!) And I also did a lot of shopping especially with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. If you still haven’t shopped the sale yet, check out my picks from this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Also, Today marks my birthday month, so I am so excited to find out what August this year will bring me. Anyway, today I’m sharing my favorite Summer outfit ideas and family moments that I shared on Instagram last July!

This picture was taken during my daughter’s field trip back in June. We went to Clemyjontri Park which is located in Mclean, VA. It was a huge playground with nothing but fun things for kids to explore and run around at. She spent the day having fun with her friends and her brother. We also got a chance to ride the carousel together.

These gingham pants are one of my favorite work pants, not only because they’re stylish, but also because I don’t have to iron them. That simple thing makes life so much easier for me.
Wearing our coordinating outfits, this photo was taken on 4th of July. We didn’t go anywhere on that day. We just stayed at home, grilled for dinner, and spent some quality family time.

You know that I always love a good pop of color in my outfits. And this outfit is probably one of my favorites since it’s so fun and cheery! I’ve had this dress for years and I still love it up to this day. I love pairing it with neutral accessories but it doesn’t hurt to pair it with colorful pieces from time to time to change things up.

These pictures were taken during Alex’s birthday dinner. She wanted to have pasta on her birthday so we went to Mancini’s Brick Oven Pizzeria and Restaurant. Their food was amazing!

I really love the simplicity yet stylishness of this work outfit. I adore the lace details of this top & it’s absolutely perfect for warm Summer days! It can be dressed down with shorts too!

This was taken during Alex’s birthday weekend! She said she wants to go to the beach for her birthday so we took her to Ocean City, Maryland. We arrived late in our hotel on our first night so we weren’t able to explore. But we spent our entire second day at the beach playing on the sand and chasing the waves. However, the waves were too strong for what the kids wanted so the next day and until we left, they only wanted to stay in the pool.

I’ve been eyeing this skirt for a while. I got a $75 Amazon gift card from work a few weeks back and I knew exactly where to use it. I got the maxi skirt and this fun PVC bag.

This picture was taken during Alex’s birthday party last Saturday. She wanted to have a party at our house with all of her friends. So I, with the help of my dad and husband, did our best to make sure we hit all her checkboxes for her birthday party.

This is my current favorite swimsuit; I’ve been eyeing this since last year. I couldn’t get myself to buy it because I thought it was expensive. So when J.Crew had a sale earlier this year and I saw this was part of it, I immediately snagged one. I couldn’t be any happier that I did because not only was it flattering, but also a very mom-friendly swimsuit.

Omg. I love that pic of you and your daughter on the carousel!!! I can’t wait till my kids are a little older (ok, yes i can wait, but there are things I’m so excited for!!) so we can take pics like that!!! xoxo
Yeah, it’s so much fun when they’re a little older so you can do more stuff with them. But then they get so excited to grow up and want to do everything on their own. Like Alex can’t wait to be 20. Can you believe it?!?!?!
Your children are precious!! And planning birthday parties are my fav even though it’s a ton of work!! Haha!!
