02 Feb Instagram Roundup – January
How was your January? Mine has been filled with birthday parties, swimming classes, and recovering from a virus. Last Christmas, my husband and I decided that we would be enrolling our kids to their very first swimming class instead of giving them material things as a gift for Christmas. So since the first Saturday of January, we’ve been taking the kids to their 9AM swimming class (except when they were sick)… what the hell were we thinking, right? I know!!! Anyway, here are my favorite Instagram moments last January!
Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram so you’re always up-to-date on what I’m wearing and what I’m doing!
Note: I may receive commissions from clicks or purchases made through links in this post at no additional cost to you. While I wish these commissions were enough to let me stay at home with my kids, they’re really for paying the fees to keep this site up and running. Thank you for your continued support!
This picture was taken before we went to attend the mass on New Years Eve. We were wearing our hats and masks from our Noon Year Eve Party earlier that day where we rang in the Noon Year with the kids. We sang, we danced, we danced while singing, we had drinks (the kids had prune juice), we made some noise, and got crazy at noon! The kids had a blast!
I am currently obsessed with this chenille sweater! I love how cozy it is and the color is just gorgeous! I love how it perfectly matches my new Hunter boots that I got last Black Friday!
This is my current favorite bag! I’ve got my eyes on a Zac Posen Eartha bag for a while and I finally got myself one last December! I got this one for 75% off from Saks Off Fifth! If you’re looking to get yourself one, you should absolutely check them out. You might find something you like for a really great deal like I did!
One Friday of January, my daughter’s class were supposed to wear homemade superhero costumes. So I went to Michael’s (where I got lost by the way) and got supplies. Every night after work, for an entire week, I worked on her costume. And I want to believe I did amazing because she really loved her costume! Since then, she has been asking me to make her other costumes like Belle (from Beauty and the Beast) and Airielle (from The Little Mermaid). LOL!
The weather in January has been really crazy! One weekend it felt like Spring, and then the next day it was back to freezing! One weekend, before everyone in our house got sick, we took the kids to a playground because the weather was really gorgeous. And this is the outfit I wore then.
My son is into dinosaurs. So we took the kids to Jurassic Quest when they were in town on the last weekend of January. The kids had a blast! They got to see some dinosaurs, ride on some of them, pet baby dinosaurs, dig some fossils, and enjoy the bounce houses! Even my daughter said it was amazing!
These faux leather leggings that you’ve seen me wear with my faux fur trimmed poncho have been my go to leggings lately. They are absolutely comfortable! I wore them to a busy day out with the kids and felt amazing the whole time!
