03 Apr Instagram Roundup – February & March
I can’t believe that the first quarter of 2018 is done just like that! The first 3 months of 2018 have been very eventful for me and my family. The kids pretty much spent most of the weekends of January and February attending their swim class; I made my daughter’s DIY wonder woman costume; we went to see Jurassic Quest when they were in town; my daughter has had to deal with mean friends; my husband and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary (I have some tips on how to celebrate on a budget); and I found the cutest floral dress for spring!
I didn’t do an Instagram Roundup post for February because I was on Instagram break pretty much most of February. There was a lot of stuff going on at my full-time job and things got pretty stressful so I decided to take a break. Our Instagram Roundup today will be for both February and March!
When I was on break, I did a poll and asked my Instagram followers what they want to see more of; and I got a lot of response for mom life. And since I work full time, I thought I should share some work outfits at least once a week. So you should be seeing more of those.
Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram so you’re always up-to-date on what I’m wearing and what I’m doing!
Note: I may receive commissions from clicks or purchases made through links in this post at no additional cost to you. While I wish these commissions were enough to let me stay at home with my kids, they’re really for paying the fees to keep this site up and running. Thank you for your continued support!
This is my favorite way to layer in fall and spring. I just love how professional yet feminine this office outfit idea is.
This picture was taken when we went out for our family Valentine’s Date. We had lunch at Cheesecake Factory and the kids had ice cream for dessert. My husband and I rarely get to go out as a couple since becoming parents; but I seriously love our family dates!
During our wedding anniversary, my husband and I would usually go out on a date while the kids are in school; that is still true this year. And yes, once a year we get to go out as a couple. LOL! This is the outfit that I wore then; we had lunch in my favorite restaurant and saw a movie. And then we had to rush home because it’s time to pick up the kids.
My kids LOVE to play with my shoes. And I just let them because they’re just too cute to watch. One night, my son decided to wear my Hunter boots and it’s the cutest thing ever!
I love a good white on white outfit paired with a denim jacket. I got this embroidered denim jacket last year and I am still obsessed with it. And, it’s still being sold and currently on sale!!!
One Sunday, when the Spring time change happened, I had this “brilliant” idea that if we go and have fun the whole day, the kids would be tired enough to sleep early on Sunday night and that would help them with the time change. So we went to an indoor playground (where this video was taken) and spent an entire day there. Yes, we ALL slept early but we still struggled for an entire week!
One day, I realized I haven’t done any spring/summer shoe shopping in a while. So I decided to get not one, but 4 pairs of shoes and 2 pairs of sandals. Are you a shoe lover as much as I am?
These floral pants were probably 5 years old but are still my favorite. I’ve gotten compliments every time I wore these. I love how I can pair these with different fun and neutral colors and the outfit just works every single time.
We didn’t get much snow last Winter. But on the second day of Spring, we had a snow storm. Schools and offices were closed so we were able to enjoy a solid snow day with the kids.
If you loved any of the outfits this post, don’t forget to pin it.
What did you think of this post? Did you like any of the outfits I shared? Which was your favorite? How was your first quarter of 2018? Did you do anything fun? Let me know in the comments. You know I always love to hear from you.
