03 May Instagram Roundup – April
April has been a crazy month especially if we’re going to talk about the weather. It didn’t feel like spring until late April. We had one weekend when it was really nice and warm so we took advantage of it and went to Brownie’s Beach (Bay Front Park) in Maryland; and then it went back to chilly. It was also a month when I went crazy with shopping. Let’s kick off the month of May by sharing my favorite Instagram moments.
Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram so you’re always up-to-date on what I’m wearing and what I’m doing!
Note: I may receive commissions from clicks or purchases made through links in this post at no additional cost to you. While I wish these commissions were enough to let me stay at home with my kids, they’re really for paying the fees to keep this site up and running. Thank you for your continued support!
This picture was taken on Easter before we went to church. Easter was very special this year because we celebrated it with my Dad. He arrived from the Philippines the last week of March. We, especially the kids, are really happy that he’s able to visit from the Manila.
As I’ve mentioned earlier, April was a month of crazy shopping for me. These are 2 of the footwear that I got last month. I adore the scalloped detail of the taupe one and the ruffle detail of the pink one; they’re so feminine. If you’re looking for a new pair of spring/summer sandals, these are perfect.
This cold shoulder top shirt is such a fun alternative to your usual work shirt. I love how chic it is yet still professional.
I adore this picture of my daughter laughing. She was laughing at my son here because he couldn’t figure out how to properly blow bubbles and kept spilling his bubbles. It’s just amazing how their smile, toothless or not, makes everything okay.
How fun is this outfit – off the shoulder top, statement sleeves, and candy bag? I must admit, it’s not my go to look especially with kids but I love to wear outfits like this from time to time. And can we talk about this candy bag? It’s already over 5 years old and no longer being sold. It’s from Furla’s special Sunset Collection; I knew I had to get my hands on it since I saw it. I used to have this in baby pink too but I sold it to a friend of mine. It’s my rainy day bag. I’ve always gotten compliments whenever I wear them.
I don’t always as stylish as you probably think. Every day, I wear PJs when I’m at home. And there are days when I feel too lazy to think what I’ll wear so I just throw on a sweater, a pair of leggings, and sneakers before heading out.
Taken during a day spent at Brownie’s Beach, this picture is one of my favorites this year. We had such a fun day at the beach despite a few hiccups we had. If you live in Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., or Maryland, you should check out our day trip to Brownie’s Beach (Bay Front Park).
I’ve always had my eyes on sleeveless vests but I couldn’t get myself to get one because I’ve always thought they’re so impractical (they wouldn’t be able to keep me warm). But as soon as I saw this sleeveless blazer, I fell in love. So I waited for it to be on sale and got it. I cannot wait to use it A LOT!
This floral dress is the cutest and so affordable! I love the subtle bell sleeves, floral, and smocked waist details. It’s on clearance now and only under $18. However, it’s no longer being sold online so you have to check your nearest Target if they have one in stock.
How fun is this floral kimono? The colors are really pretty and I love the tassel details. It is already out of stock (I’m not surprised) but I found others that are just as cute.
If you loved any of the outfits this post, don’t forget to pin it.
