03 Jul How To Wear Sleeveless Blazer In Summer
I’ve been very open about my love-hate relationship with sleeveless blazers (or sleeveless vests). I love how stylish they are and how they bring any outfit you wear them with to a whole new level; but they don’t really do anything to keep you warm (during the colder months).
However, when I saw this sleeveless blazer online, I fell in love so I had to get it. I got it on sale though so I feel really great about it. Today, I will be sharing how to wear sleeveless blazer in Summer. The great thing about wearing a sleeveless blazer in Summer is that you don’t really need to worry about getting cold. It’s actually a perfect fashion piece for Summer.

How To Wear Sleeveless Blazer With Dresses
The best way to wear a sleeveless blazer with a dress is to wear it with a fitted dress. Since the blazer is already loose-fitting, it’s going to look absolutely chic with a form-fitting dress. It doesn’t have to be a tank dress like the one I’m wearing, a sheath dress should work just as great. A-line and fit & flare dresses should work too because the waistline is cinched.
I’ve had this black tank dress for years and I still love it. One thing I really LOVE about this dress is its very stretchy fabric. I’ve worn it when I was pregnant with both of my kids (even on 2nd and 3rd trimesters), and I also love wearing this under a lace cropped top I got a few years back. I love how versatile this tank dress is and how breathable the material is.
How To Wear Sleeveless Blazer With Jeans & Pants
You can wear a sleeveless blazer with just about any type of jeans and office pants. However, if you’re on the petite side like me, I would stay away from wide-leg jeans and pants because they tend to make you look smaller than you really are. Stick with skinny, straight cut, and boyfriend/girlfriend jeans to rock this look. If you’re into leggings just like me, you can absolutely wear your sleeveless blazer with them.
These distressed skinny jeans is probably my absolute favorite pair among all my jeans. They’re so flattering and stylish. And I’ve ALWAYS gotten compliments whenever I wear them.

Just like with jeans, you can wear a sleeveless blazer with any type of skirt. I like wearing mine with pencil cut and pleated skirts. I avoid wearing my sleeveless blazer with midi skirts, because just like wide-leg jeans, they make petite people like me look shorter than we really are.
I got this faux leather pleated skirt during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale last year and it has been one of my favorite skirts. I love how versatile it is and the fact that I don’t have to iron it every single time before I wear it helps a busy mom like me A LOT. If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you’ve probably already seen me wear this with a tie neck blouse and bell sleeve top.
How To Wear Sleeveless Blazer With Shorts
You can absolutely wear your sleeveless blazer with a dressier top and shorts, but I love wearing my sleeveless blazer with a tucked in basic tee and denim shorts paired with sneakers. I just adore how effortlessly chic this outfit looks with a sleeveless blazer.
Of all the ways I’ve worn my sleeveless blazer, this is my absolute favorite. I just love the multiple stylish ways you can pair a sleeveless blazer with shorts. You can dress this look up a little by switching the sneakers with heels or dress it all the way up by wearing dressier pieces.
