01 Nov Instagram Roundup – September & October (Fall Outfit Ideas)
If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you probably noticed that I wasn’t posting as much as I used to. I’ve been taking a lot of breaks because (to be honest) I kinda lost my motivation to push forward; but I’m slowly regaining it. Let’s start this November by looking back at my favorite Instagram moments for the months of September and October.
Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram so you’re always up-to-date on what I’m wearing and what I’m doing.
Note: I may receive commissions from clicks or purchases made through links in this post at no additional cost to you. While I wish these commissions were enough to let me stay at home with my kids, they’re really for paying the fees to keep this site up and running. Thank you for your continued support!
This is when I debuted my short hair and I shared how I was regretting cutting it (I still do) because it now takes me longer to get ready every single morning. But let’s talk about my chambray dress here; I seriously believe a good chambray dress like this is a must for everyone’s closet. My chambray dress is only available in a few sizes; but I found one that’s just as cute and as affordable.
It’s very rare that I buy a pair of sandals in full price but when I saw these sexy pair of sandals, I knew I had to have them. They’re currently on sale right now (under $50!!!) and only available in 4 sizes!
I was actually criticized on Instagram because of this shirt dress. The critic said I was too small because the dress hits me below the knees and she has never came across a shirt dress that hits below the knees. But I don’t really care; I love this dress and I feel good wearing it so I kept wearing it.
My son turned 3 last September. We were supposed to take him to the zoo but it rained the whole day so we went to Chuck E. Cheese’s instead. It was also our family’s first trip there and we all had a blast!
I love fall but I seriously cannot wait for summer so I can wear these jeweled sandals again!!! They are very comfortable and easy to walk in. I am absolutely obsessed with them.
I seriously adore this work outfit! If only I can also wear the hat while I’m at work, right?
I’ve always loved a black on black outfit with a pop of color. And this multicolored cardigan paired with this cami and leggings is perfect for that.
I adore my chambray shirt dress too much that I decided to get it in pink as well. You know what they say… If you love it that much, get it in multiple colors, right?

I love how cozy this brown sweater dress is! I love the oversized sleeves and how I can wear shirts underneath to create different looks. And these snakeskin ankle boots are the best addition to your fall wardrobe!
Snakeskin is another thing that I am obsessed with. So when I saw these blush mule booties, I snagged them right away. They’re so easy to walk in and they make any outfit I wear them with more fun.
As I was doing my fall shopping, I saw this top with statement sleeves and fell in love. This is another reason why I can’t wait for Summer because I want to wear this top a lot!
This Halloween, the kids had different interests and we can no longer do a family themed Halloween costume just like we used to. This year, my daughter wanted to be Rainbow Dash (from My Little Pony) and she asked me to be Applejack. My mom was Rarity. I ordered our masks from Colorful Characters, and DIY-ed our tails.
Meanwhile, my son wanted to be Chase (of course he’s obsessed with Paw Patrol) and my husband had to be Ryder. He used the mask & cape we got him as his souvenir for his Paw Patrol themed party. I didn’t want to buy a vest for my husband so I DIY-ed that as well.
If you loved any of the outfit in this post, don’t forget to pin it.
