December Instagram Roundup

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you had an amazing 2018 and wishing you a new year filled with blessings, happiness, and love! I took a social media break on the last couple of weeks of December to focus on what’s really important – family. So this month’s Instagram roundup is going to be short because I only had a few posts I shared on Instagram. Why don’t we get started and look back on my favorite Instagram moments last December!

Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram so you’re always up-to-date on what I’m doing and what I’m wearing.

picture of family happily riding the train on Christmas at Burke Lake Park in Fairfax, Virginia

Last month, we went to Burke Lake Park and checked out their Christmas activities. We rode the wagon, made candles, had hot chocolate and S’mores, rode the train, had our picture taken with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, and played golf. We had so much fun, we’re most likely adding it to our Christmas traditions.

Plaid knee high boots from Target, the perfect statement boots this fall and winter

exact boots // similar boots here and here

These boots are the perfect statement boots you’re looking for! The color is neutral, the print is classic, and the price is very affordable. For a pair of boots under $50, I didn’t waste any time and got them right away. These exact boots are only available in a few sizes but I found similar ones that are just as cute here and here.

green turtleneck sweater, black sequin pencil mini skirt both from Express, nude pumps, and blush Gucci soho chain shoulder bag - dressy outfit for holiday festivities that can be worn at work too

black choker sweater from Express, multicolored sequin mini skirt from H&M, black tights, and black ankle boots from Tory Burch - perfect outfit for New Years Eve

These 2 sequin skirts styled differently were perfect for holiday parties. I was torn between wearing multi-colored sequin mini skirt paired with tights and ankle boots or a black sequin pencil skirt paired with nude accessories. Which look is your favorite?
