5 Reasons Why You’ll Love This Is Us

Hi! How are you all doing? I’m doing pretty fabulous! Other than the fact that my blog just recently turned 1 and we have an ongoing $250 Nordstrom gift card giveaway (don’t forget to enter if you haven’t yet), I had updated my blog’s logo to convey what my site is really all about. I immediately fell in love with it the moment I saw it! What do you think? This update wouldn’t have been possible if not for my dear friend, Haydee Gusler. She also did social media banners to match the new logo! How awesome is she? Her graphic designs…

The Best Ride-On Car For Toddlers From buybuy BABY

This ride-on car was provided by buybuy BABY for free in exchange for my honest review. As always, thoughts and opinions are 100% honest and my own. Don’t you find it amazing how our babies grow up so fast? And doesn’t it make you wish that you could stop the time? I know I do! I can still remember how tiny my daughter was and how she was so dependent on me and my husband during her first year of life. But now, she has grown into this sweet, thoughtful, and witty girl right before my eyes. She’s always expressing her…

Things To Do In Washington, DC With Toddlers

Since I was younger, holidays would always get me really excited! Back in the Philippines, it seemed as if we have long weekends every single month! How I miss those! My friends and I would always plan to go somewhere each holiday. Before being a mom, my husband and I would choose to just stay at home and relax to enjoy the holidays; and most of the time, I’d be online shopping because of all the great deals! After giving birth to my kids, I guess my adventurous side got awakened; or maybe it gave me the perfect excuse to…

Healthy Snacking When Traveling With Lorissa’s Kitchen

As a mom of 2 toddlers, I’m always on the go – be it taking the kids to a farm or a park, play dates, or going out of town; our weekends are mostly spent outside. Kids are kids; they love to explore, climb on top of things, get dirty, and so much more. To make up for the fact that my husband and I work full-time 5 days a week, we take them somewhere fun every weekend to let them do all these things that they love. Being out and about means that I have to make sure our…

Things To Do With Toddlers At Massanutten Resort

My daughter used to be scared of water – pool, ocean, anything. Even when I thought she has finally gotten over her fear of water, she really didn’t. It wasn’t until recently when she started showing interest in playing with water. She would constantly tell me how she wants to swim in any body of water she’d see, even a small puddle of water. How cute, right? We’ve taken her and my son to an indoor pool near where we live quite a few times during the colder months; and she’d constantly tell me she wants to do it again. So…

What Is Love Through The Eyes Of A Child

Do you ever wonder how our kids, as young and innocent as they are, know what love is? While my daughter (especially my son) may not be able to tell me exactly how she defines love even if I ask her, I honestly think it’s when…

Washable & Comfortable Costumes For Kids With Little Adventures + Giveaway

I adore seeing kids, especially babies, in costumes because they just look so adorable in them. Ever since becoming a mom, I’ve always been looking forward to Halloween because that means I can dress up my kids in cute costumes. What I didn’t like about costumes is that they’re so uncomfortable and impractical; not to mention that they’re expensive and they get ruined when you wash them. Which is why I’ve always been an advocate of practical “costumes” that you can wear over and over, like the ones the Inside Out characters have been wearing. But that was until I found out about Little…

Decorate Your Home With Personalized Art From 76th & Newbury

I adore anything personalized. If you’ve seen my son’s first birthday party, you’ll see that I had most of the decorations, even his outfit, personalized. Whenever we’d go home to Manila, I’d have something made that’s personalized for my kids if not for our family, like our family hand print on a ceramic plate. I treasure every memory I’ve made (and yet to make) with my family, and having something personalized captures that perfect moment and ensures that we’d be able to look back years from then and remind us how happy we were or little the kids were at that moment.

Potty Training In 3 Days: The Secrets To Be Successful

My daughter first started showing interest in the potty when she was 18 months. Being the excited mom that I am, I rushed to my nearest Target the first chance I got and purchased this potty. One day, she said she wanted to go to the potty so we just sat her there and she peed on her own. That was pretty exciting for us but we didn’t do anything after that because her school won’t be able to do potty training until she’s in the 2’s room. Since my husband and I work full time during weekdays and she’s mostly in school, we didn’t want her getting confused; so we decided to wait until she has moved up to the 2’s room, where they’ll be taught how to use the potty, before we start potty training at home.
