12 Memorable Christmas Tradition Ideas To Do With Your Family

Growing up, part of what gets me excited about Christmas are the family traditions that I get to do with my parents. I always look forward to doing those year after year. And I still do! I think I always will, even though I don’t get to do it with them anymore. Now that I am a mom of 2 adorable kids, it is my turn to make sure that we get these Christmas traditions going and to look for new memorable Christmas traditions that we can do as a family. Today, I rounded up memorable Christmas tradition ideas that…

Be Thankful For The Bad Things In Life

It’s almost Thanksgiving and you’ve probably seen a lot of posts about being thankful for all the blessings they’ve received, their family and friends. While I am also absolutely grateful for all these things and more, this year, I want to focus on the bad things that happened to me. It’s not every day you get to hear someone say “Be thankful for the bad things in your life”. It’s hard to be thankful for them when they hurt you, when they make you live your life in fear, when they make you angry, or when they leave you devastated.

Fall Must-Haves Under $25

Do you want to look fabulous for Fall (or for any season) without breaking the bank? I get it! We all want to look our best no matter what season (or day) it is. But not everyone has all the money to spend at high-end stores. Looking fabulous doesn’t mean you always have to splurge. It’s not always about the labels. I’m not going to be a hypocrite and say I don’t like designer brands, because I do! However, while I do believe that some designer pieces are well worth the investment because of their quality, I am also aware…

Potty Training In 3 Days: The Secrets To Be Successful

My daughter first started showing interest in the potty when she was 18 months. Being the excited mom that I am, I rushed to my nearest Target the first chance I got and purchased this potty. One day, she said she wanted to go to the potty so we just sat her there and she peed on her own. That was pretty exciting for us but we didn’t do anything after that because her school won’t be able to do potty training until she’s in the 2’s room. Since my husband and I work full time during weekdays and she’s mostly in school, we didn’t want her getting confused; so we decided to wait until she has moved up to the 2’s room, where they’ll be taught how to use the potty, before we start potty training at home.

4 Thoughtful Gifts For Your Kid’s Teachers For Christmas

Since my daughter started going to the daycare, I feel like I owe all her teachers A LOT for looking after her while I work. What To Give Your Kid’s Teachers This Christmas? The Holidays is just one of those occasions where, for…

Fun Fall Activities For Families With Toddlers

I grew up in the Philippines where the only seasons we’ve had are summer and spring; but ever since I lived here in the United States, fall has quickly become my favorite season. I love how beautiful this season is, especially when the trees started changing colors; I love the crisp air; I enjoy being able to transition my Summer clothes to Fall, and having to dress up in layers (something I didn’t get to do back in the Philippines) but still not feel as restricted as you do in winter. And the fact that there’s a bunch of budget-friendly fall activities that you can…

The Secret To Get Through A Pregnancy Without Maternity Clothes

Pregnant and have no money for maternity clothes? There is absolutely no need to buy maternity clothes. In one of my earlier posts, where I listed must have baby items for first time moms, I mentioned that I managed to get through my pregnancies without maternity clothes, not even a single one. And it’s not because my belly was so small that I didn’t even have to; I just didn’t want to. Why? First, they’re expensive; and second (at least for me), there’s not much variety. In this post, I will share how you can avoid buying maternity clothes during…

Ultimate New Baby Checklist: Everything You Need Right Now + Printable

When I got pregnant with my daughter, just like most first-time moms, I knew nothing about motherhood. I didn’t know what stuff to get and what I shouldn’t, which stuff works and which don’t. Google was my friend back then; I went through several different sites and got overwhelmed with all the different  information I found. One website was saying I need this but another one was saying I don’t. It was helpful of course, but it was also confusing for me. So I had to step back, got my Belly Book and started listing some things I thought would be useful; then I reviewed the list that I have against the lists available online. After a few additions and removal, my list was complete.
