Happy Thursday! How’s your week going so far? Mine has been good! Last weekend, I was able to spend a few hours to myself, special thanks to my husband for letting it happen. And no, it’s not my Mother’s Day present. I finally got my much needed haircut; I haven’t had one in 2 years. And got a pedicure as well. It’s just so easy to take yourself for granted after being a mom; but I’m trying so hard to do little things for myself every once in a while. I also made Pineapple Upsidedown mini cakes for my husband since he expressed interest in it the week before. My kids and I are still fighting off a virus; but hopefully, we’ll feel better soon. Anyway, today I want to talk about 2 trends that I find myself loving lately – bell sleeves and embroidered denim.

Other than the off the shoulder and cold shoulder trends, I find myself constantly drawn towards tops with bell sleeves and embroidery. I actually recently got a bunch of stuff with embroidery on them, including this denim jacket that I’m currently living off of.
If you want to add some fun twist into your wardrobe, embroidered denims just like these jeans, is the way to go. They’re effortlessly chic and I don’t think they will ever go out of style. At least that’s what I hope!
Tops with bell sleeves are making a comeback and you’ve probably seen them everywhere. I honestly can’t blame those who are into them, because they are such a fun addition to anyone’s closet. Tops with bell sleeves are a great statement piece and they painlessly add sophistication to any look.
Wearing these two statement pieces together can be tricky. You have to be careful not to overdo it. Stick to plain tops with bell sleeves to pair with your minimally embroidered denim to achieve that effortlessly fashion-forward look.
