Growing up, Christmas has been my favorite holiday! There’s just nothing better than doing all our Christmas traditions like putting up and seeing all the festive decors, listening to Christmas songs, having family dinner, opening Christmas presents, getting together and catching up with all my relatives, and of course, dressing up. Now that I’m a mom, shopping coordinating outfits for my kids has been part of my Christmas tradition. With November rolling around and the temperature FINALLY dropping, I couldn’t help but get excited with all the Christmas feels! And that got me to start early. Which is why I already finished putting up all my Christmas decors; and I’m also done shopping Christmas outfits for my kids. Of course, Carter’s has made my life easier for the nth time because they have the perfect coordinating outfits for holiday dressing. Today, I partnered with Carter’s to share with you how to adorably dress siblings in coordinating outfits without matching for Christmas.
If you’re like me (I do it every single year during the holidays), you probably try to dress your kids in coordinating outfits while they’re young as much as you can. I can’t blame you! Siblings wearing coordinating outfits, matching or not, are seriously the cutest! And while getting them to wear matching outfits is the easiest because you just buy the exact same clothes for everyone; dressing them in coordinating outfits requires a little bit of planning, but very attainable. The key is to find pieces of clothing that has coordinating colors. If one child is wearing a print, the other child doesn’t need to wear the exact same print; you can opt for a piece of clothing in a solid color used in the print the other child is wearing. Or, you can also have the other child wear a different print but make sure that most of the colors in that print matches the colors in the other print, just like what I did with my kids. I seriously love how their photos turned out!!! I think I will be doing this fun tradition of having them wear coordinating outfits until they are old enough to say no and choose their own clothes.
Shopping clothes for my kids has always been a fun task for me, especially when I’m looking for coordinating outfits. Seriously, whenever I go to my local Carter’s, I would always end up spending anywhere from $100 – $200 in a single visit because their clothes are adorable! Since finding out that we were expecting, Carter’s has been my go to store when it comes to clothes for my kids. Carter’s has a variety of styles that are perfect for every day use, for any holiday, and for every season. Whether you’re looking for an outfit set, children’s pajamas, baby holiday clothes, or shopping for holiday gifts, you’ll find what you’re looking for at Carter’s. Their clothes are very comfortable and the cutest, not to mention that the quality for the price is simply amazing. So of course, it’s only natural that I quickly rushed to my local Carter’s as soon as I found out that their holiday line has been released.
Whenever I hear and think Christmas, I always envision reds and greens. Which is why I wasn’t surprised that these pieces quickly got my attention the moment I walked in the store. I mean seriously, how festive can you get with these outfits? If you’re not into the traditional festive outfits, they also have a variety of styles and prints for everyone, including modern neutrals. You can shop their entire holiday line here.
How dapper does my son look in this outfit? The red sweater is perfect for the festive red plaid shirt. The layering will provide him the warmth he needs during the colder months. And the gray pants provides a nice contrast to the brightly colored top. I love that he can wear the sweater and shirt separately and create different looks with them.
Isn’t my daughter adorable in this cozy poncho paired with the festive plaid flannel skirt? I really like the material used in the poncho; it’s absolutely going to keep her warm when it gets freezing. Plus, it’s going to look perfect with leggings too! The skirt has a stretchy band/button which allows her to wear it longer. And I’m already checking out her clothes to see if she has whites, greens, and blacks to pair with the cute skirt.
Holiday outfits aren’t complete without holiday pajamas! If you’re looking for some, Carter’s also has the cutest selection. Let me just tell you, their pajamas are simply the best; not just because they’re affordable, but because they’re also stylish and comfortable. Actually, all of their clothes are! But really, my kids only sleep in their Carter’s pajamas.
Speaking of pajamas, Carter’s believes that every child deserves a good night so they are partnering with Pajama Program, an organization that provides children new pajamas from November 1st – December 31st. You can help by donating a pair of new pajamas in store or make a monetary donation at check out (in store or online). Carter’s will match up to 100,000 pairs of pajamas. Your local community benefits directly from your support. How amazing is that?
Now, I don’t know about you but as soon as November starts, I automatically think Black Friday shopping! I usually get my Christmas shopping done and stock up on my kids clothes for the next season during that time. Good thing, Carter’s will have can’t-miss Black Friday deals beginning November 17th. Plus, you can be one of the lucky ones to win over $700,000 in Dash Cash if you’re one of the first 100 people to visit your local store for the Dash In to Win Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes will be held on Black Friday (November 23rd or November 24th – depending on when the store opens after Thanksgiving). You need to check www.carters.com/stores to confirm what date the sweepstakes will be held at your nearest Carter’s. Lastly, you will receive a gift from Shutterfly on your $40+ purchase that day. Visit carters.com/dashintowin for official rules.
When you do shop, make sure to take advantage of this extra savings. Get 20% off your purchase of $40+ by using these codes in store: 070716 or online: CART4198. These codes are valid through 12/31/17. Some exclusions apply, check out www.carters.com/couponpolicy for details.

First off, I wish that cable knit sweater came in adult sizes because it’s seriously cute!! I remember when I was young, I hated when my mom would dress my sister and I in the same outfits because I wanted to be my own person! Coordinating outfits are sooo much better because they’re unique, but look adorable together. Love how you styled them.
