I think I always will, even though I don't get to do it with them anymore. Now that I am a mom of 2 adorable kids, it is my turn to make sure that we get these Christmas traditions...

Love Family, a personalized book from Loving Lion Books that teaches kids to embrace diversity. #childrensbook #learnthroughplay | personalized books for kids | childrens books | personalized childrens books | books for kids | books for toddlers | books to read When I was a child, I had a huge collection of fairy tale books which are all about the dreamy stories of these beautiful princesses - Cinderella, Belle, Jasmine, and so on. I loved reading them all the time and believed everything I read in these books. Sometimes, my cousins and I would even re-enact these stories during our playtime. Needless to say, these books had a huge impact on me. I grew up thinking that life is pretty much similar to these fairy tales; but of course it wasn't long enough until I found out that it's not. It is a known fact that kids learn through play and through what they see. And with my experience as a child, I realized that books really have a huge influence with the way kids view things, which is why I try to be selective with the books that I get for my kids.

It's almost Thanksgiving and you've probably seen a lot of posts about being thankful for all the blessings they've received, their family and friends. While I am also absolutely grateful for all these things and more, this year, I want to focus on the bad things that happened to me. It's not every day you get to hear someone say "Be thankful for the bad things in your life". It's hard to be thankful for...

There's just nothing better than doing all our Christmas traditions like putting up and seeing all the festive decors, listening to Christmas songs, having family dinner, opening Christmas presents, getting together and catching up with all my relatives, and of course, dressing up. Now that I'm a mom, shopping coordinating outfits for my kids has been part of my Christmas tradition. With November rolling around and the temperature FINALLY dropping, I couldn't help but get excited with all the Christmas feels! And that got me to start early. Which is why I already finished putting up all my Christmas decors; and I'm also done shopping Christmas outfits for my kids. Of course, Carter's has made my life easier for the nth time because they have the perfect coordinating outfits for holiday dressing. Today, I partnered with Carter's to share with you how to adorably dress siblings in coordinating outfits without matching for Christmas.

We found out that my son has a severe peanut allergy on his first birthday. We were given an EpiPen prescription because there's a risk that he'll have anaphylactic shock if he ingests peanut. We immediately banned peanut inside our house as soon as we found out. It took us a while to get used to it because no one else in the family has an allergy (and I hope it stays that way); but...

This year is really flying by! October has always been an eventful month for us since I became a mom, because of all the fun fall activities that we always try to do with the kids. And this year is pretty much the same, considering we've yet to go to a fall festival and enjoy the fall foliage. So my Instagram posts for the past month is a good combination of the outfits I wore and the activities that we did. I know I said in my previous post that I'll be sharing only 5 Instagram posts every month, but there are so many things that I love that happened in October; and I want to share them with you. Here are my favorite posts for October!
