Happy Tuesday! How are you all doing? You were probably wondering why I didn’t do any post for most of May. I did take a blogging break because I got to a point where it was too much for me to handle – being a mom of 2 precious toddlers, working full-time as an IT professional, and managing this blog – it was just a lot for me then. I took a break to remind myself why I started this blog and what I love about it; and yet I found myself starting my YouTube channel where I’ve been posting the highlights of our week and lookbooks. How crazy is that? Lol! I created my channel so I can show you what it’s like to be a mom of 2 toddlers while trying to be as fashionable as I could. Check out our trailer and other videos (if you’d like); and if you enjoyed watching, don’t forget to subscribe so you’ll get first access to our new videos. I am absolutely back to blogging, but I might take a break from time to time if needed, with a much better content to offer. Today, we’re going to talk about my favorite spring/summer trend – embroidery.
You’ve probably seen my current favorite jeans and my current favorite jacket (if you’re following me on Instagram); both of which have embroidery. I just adore embroidery on clothes because it adds a fun and feminine touch to it.
Since I am also posting lookbook videos on my YouTube channel, I decided to change the format of my fashion posts. Starting today, I will be featuring 2 outfits per post; with my YouTube video lookbook embedded at the end so you can see the outfits come to life. I hope you like this format better!

Our first outfit is a rose embroidered classic white button down shirt. I love how the embroidery liven up the otherwise boring yet classic white shirt. I like how the embroidery isn’t that bold that it doesn’t take away the timelessness of the button down shirt. And of course, my favorite part is how versatile this shirt is.
I’ve worn this embroidered shirt with a pair of gingham pants, and these plain black shorts. I can also see myself pairing it with basic jeans, denim shorts, printed shorts, and skirt. You know I love (and I’m sure you do too) it when a single piece of clothing can be worn multiple ways because that just means I’ll get more use out of it. And the best part is, it’s only less than $16!

Embroidered One Shoulder Dress

This embroidered one shoulder dress is perfect for summer and I just love everything about it. It’s so feminine, the cut is very forgiving, it has tassels which is another trend right now, plus its embroidery is in pink.
This embroidered one shoulder dress can be worn casually; and you can also dress it up if that’s what you prefer! Just change the accessories you wear it with to create different looks with it.
