Improve Your Child’s Quality Of Sleep With Twin Z

My daughter had always been dependent on me with her sleep ever since she was a baby. We’ve had to deal with a lot of bedtime struggles since her birth. I’ve had to rock her to sleep for the longest time, pat her back to sleep, and hug her to help her fall asleep. She needs me close to her to feel comfortable and secure falling asleep. Currently, all I have to do is lie beside her until she falls asleep. There are nights that I’d fall asleep with her; but most nights, I have to get up as soon as she falls asleep and do the things I need to do.

Being a mom, working full-time, and running a blog means a lot of late nights for me. I usually catch up on the things I need to do for my blog when the kids are sleeping. Most nights I am able to finish what I need to do, but there are those nights when my daughter would wake up in the middle of the night and cry for me. And it had to be those nights when I’m rushing to get things done. But of course, I would have to stop what I’m doing and lie beside her so she can go back to sleep. And most of the time, I’d end up falling asleep with her and not finish what I intended to do. And it’s the same story for weekend nap times!

Today, I’ve partnered with Twin Z to bring you a revolutionary pillow that could improve your child’s quality of sleep.

About Twin Z

Twin Z’s success came from the Twin Z Pillow. The founders of the company had twins and realized just how hard it was to feed two babies at once. They went through A LOT of feeding struggles and thought that there has to be something better for twins. They searched and searched the internet and found nothing. So they thought to make a pillow that would have everything they wanted. And so, the Twin Z Pillow was born. You can read more about them here.

About Sleep ZZZ Pillow

Twin Z Sleep ZZZ Pillow, a pillow that could improve your child's quality of sleep

Sleep ZZZ Pillow is a new body pillow for kids ages 3+. It was invented for one of the owner’s children that has sensory issues because they needed something to help her fall asleep and stay asleep. They originally thought it was only for kids with sensory issues but found out that TONS of kids love this pillow. It has now helped hundreds of parents get their kids to bed faster and stay asleep longer. You can read more about it here.

I was provided with the Sleep ZZZ Pillow in Birdies print. I love that it came with a pillow bag which can be reused for storing the pillow when traveling or storing other stuff to keep your closet organized.

Using The Sleep Pillow

My daughter initially loved the appearance of the pillow. At first, it was mainly the fact that she has something new; she always gets excited whenever she has new stuff. The pillow itself was soft and the pillow cover feels really good to touch; I actually want to touch it over and over. I did ask her if she likes her new sleep pillow and if it gives her a good sleep, she answered yes to both questions.

Did it help her fall asleep?

Normally, when it’s time for bed, my daughter would just keep on playing and I would have to keep on telling her that it’s time to sleep. So I’d have to spend an hour or so (at night) and 30 minutes (during nap time) waiting for her to fall asleep. Surprisingly, however, as soon as I let her used the Sleep ZZZ Pillow for the first time, she fell asleep on her own right away. I only had to tell her that it’s time to sleep and the sleep pillow works like magic. It wasn’t consistent though. Most times she’ll fall asleep within a few minutes; some days it still takes longer but it has significantly lessened compared to when she wasn’t using the sleep pillow.

Did it improve the quality of her sleep?

YES!!! During her nap time, when I’m not beside her and I’m doing stuff, it’s very rare that she’ll stay asleep for 2 hours or more. But when she started using the Sleep ZZZ Pillow, she did (except for a day she had a fever)!!! And she stayed asleep the whole night and didn’t wake up at all; which means, I was able to finish everything I needed to do for my blog. Isn’t that amazing?

The Verdict

At first, I was very skeptical about the effectivity of the Sleep ZZZ Pillow. I thought a pillow won’t be able to solve my problems; but guess what, it did! Even though my daughter falling asleep right away using the sleep pillow wasn’t consistent, it still helped significantly lessen the amount of time I had to spend waiting for her to fall asleep. I no longer have to wait for 30-60 minutes at a time; which means that I can start working on what I need to do right away. Plus, it has also helped her stay asleep which translates to more productive hours and less late nights for me.

It’s also helpful to note that my daughter is currently 2 years old. Even though it says that the Sleep ZZZ Pillow was made for kids 3 years and above, she seems to be benefitting from this revolutionary sleep pillow too.

I would definitely recommend this to other moms who have kids who keep on waking up in the middle of the night or have problems during nap times or have the same problems as I do.

That’s amazing! My kids are a little older so they go to sleep on their own but what a great invention!!!! My kids were horrible sleepers when they were little but now they are fine it does get easier

So sorry to hear about that but it’s great to know that it does get easier!

I love the idea of this pillow. My 3-year-old tosses and turns before falling asleep at night. He does so much better if he has someone cuddling him. This pillow may be the perfect solution to get him to sleep and help him stay asleep, without ending up in our bed.

This looks incredibly cozy. My 2-year-old is still in her crib, but I have her big girl bed set up. I think adding a sleep pillow would definitely interest her.

We struggle in the sleeping department as well. I have co kept with both of my children and I’m still trying to transition my toddler to his own bed. This pillow sounds perfect.

So sorry to hear that. My daughter is 2 years old and still co-sleeps with me. She still doesn’t want to sleep in her own bed.

I have slept with a body pillow for years. I can’t sleep without it. So I totally get it. The birdie pattern is adorable, by the way.
I have an aunt who is raising her grandkids and the little girl has many issues. She has been looking at weighted vests and other sensory tools. I am going to share this with her. Thank you for a thorough review.

I love the print, it’s so pretty! I really think this might help with my 2 year old, he always wants us to lay with him as he falls asleep. I’m thinking tradeoff!

  37. February 21, 2017 / 5:45 PM

This looks like something my middle daughter could benefit from. She likes the snuggles and this pillow seems to cuddle them. I was unaware that they were making wrap around pillows for kids so this is good to check out.

I totally understand why kids would love this! My daughter always wants me to snuggle with her before bedtime. I know it is that extra comfort of me being there, and her having something warm beside her, but this pillow might do the trick too!! Good find and great review!
