I must admit I am not good with makeup at all! Which is probably the reason why I don’t wear makeup often; I only do so during special occasions. And whenever I do, it’s usually very simple. But if there’s one thing that I wear a lot, it’s lipstick. And if you’ve noticed, I LOVE wearing bold lip colors. But from time to time, I find myself wanting a good nude lipstick. So today, I am sharing my latest find – a couple of Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in neutral shades. A couple of years ago, I was able to try some…

April has been a crazy month especially if we’re going to talk about the weather. It didn’t feel like spring until late April. We had one weekend when it was really nice and warm so we took advantage of it and went to Brownie’s Beach (Bay Front Park) in Maryland; and then it went back to chilly. It was also a month when I went crazy with shopping. Let’s kick off the month of May by sharing my favorite Instagram moments. Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram so you’re always up-to-date on what I’m wearing and what I’m doing! – Note:…

Tonight, my daughter told me she wants a new mommy! We weren’t fighting at all. She said it casually while we were asking each other how our day went before bedtime. It felt like I got stabbed in the heart. She said it was because I get stressed out a lot.   She’s right. I get stressed out over little things. When she and her brother don’t want to share toys, when they don’t listen even after telling them not to do something countless times, or when her brother ended up hurting her (and sometimes when she hurt her brother).…

Your bedroom is a place where you retreat from everything else to end your day. It’s the place where you get your most deserved rest after an eventful day, especially for moms like myself. So it’s supposed to be the coziest place in your home. I don’t know about you, but cozy for me is more than just comfortable bed and luxurious sheets. It’s about the feeling that a room gives me. It is about knowing that it is indeed “my space” – a space that I built for myself and my family – as soon as I enter the room.

My daughter has been consistently asking when we’re going to the beach since Winter. And since the weather in Virginia was really nice last Saturday, we decided to do a quick family trip to Brownie’s Beach (Bay Front Park) in Calvert County, Maryland. Today, I’m going to share everything you need to know about Brownie’s Beach (Bay Front Park). – Make sure to read towards the end, I’m hosting a Mother’s Day Giveaway with other fabulous moms where you can win $300 Target Gift Card! – Brownie’s Beach (also known as Bay Front Park), is one of the local beaches…

Whether we like it or not, swimsuit season is just around the corner. It’s that time of the year when we usually feel pressured (especially us moms after giving birth to our precious little ones) to be in shape so we’ll look our best in our swimsuits. I don’t know about you, but I’m not gifted with the best metabolism there is; so I usually have to make an extra effort to work out to have that “perfect body”. But if you’re like me, you probably just don’t have the time to work out with everything you already have on…

When I found out that I was pregnant with my daughter 5 years ago, I was so excited! As you probably already know, I love fashion. Other than the fact that we’ve been planning for a baby (and hoping for a girl) back then, I knew I’m going to have so much fun shopping outfits for her and with her. Little did I know that I’m missing one important aspect of having a daughter – hairstyle – which I don’t know nothing about! I’ve never been good with hairstyles. Since I was young, I’ve only known 3 hairstyles – wearing…

Before I became a mom, I used to own an entire closet filled with shoes. I have a pair of for each color and every print I could think of. I have heels in stripes and leopard print; I have shoes with bows and feathers. I have classic heels and edgy ones. But I had to sell/donate almost everything to make room for my kids (I kept 3 of my favorite ones). And since then, every time I feel the need to buy a pair of shoes, I would always think how much wear I’d get out of them. I…

I can’t believe that the first quarter of 2018 is done just like that! The first 3 months of 2018 have been very eventful for me and my family. The kids pretty much spent most of the weekends of January and February attending their swim class; I made my daughter’s DIY wonder woman costume; we went to see Jurassic Quest when they were in town; my daughter has had to deal with mean friends;  my husband and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary (I have some tips on how to celebrate on a budget); and I found the cutest floral…

As a mom, one thing that I constantly ask myself is how to keep my kids from spilling liquids all over the place. This is mostly true for my son. Yes, we’ve tried those leak-proof sippy cups and they’re a lifesaver. However, because he thinks he’s such a “big boy” now, he won’t drink on closed sippy cups anymore (especially when he sees his older sister doing it so gracefully well). And when we’re out, I don’t know what’s up with these water bottles but somehow they look like a magical drinking instrument for him; because he always ignores his…
